Paneer Makhani (Paneer Butter Masala)

     Relishing tender and succulent paneer soaked in a very rich and creamy gravy, is every foodies dram come true. Paneer Makhni is one such dish which is no doubt one of the most popular classic dishes in indian cuisine. Not only in india but its very popular among non Indians as well. soft cubed paneer soaks all the flavours of  rich and creamy gravy and it jut melts in your mouth tantalizing your taste buds.
       If you have basic makhani gravy prepared beforehand ,then it takes only minutes to make this dish making it a perfect party dish without compromising the taste and only gathering the compliments.
    So what are you waiting for, try this recipe and woe your guests, friends and family members.



   Ingredients

200 gms Paneer/cottage cheese (cubed and fried)(frying optional)
1Tbs Butter/Oil
1 Bayleaf
11/2 Cup Makhani-gravy
Salt To taste
Red Chili powder To taste
1Tbs Kasuri methi /Dried fenugreek leaves
1 Cup Water
2-3Tbs Cream
1/4Tsp Garam masala

Directions

  • Heat 1Tbs butter/oil in a pan, add bay leaf.
  • Add makhani gravy and 1 cup water and boil or 2-3 minutes, Adjust the seasoning ( salt, red chili powder) according to your tatse.Cook for 5-8 minutes or until you get the desired consistency .
  • Add paneer cubes to the gravy and cook it for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Add cream , garam masala and kasuri methi ,gently stir and simmer it for 1 minute.
  • Switch of the flame.
  • garnish it with cream and coriander
  • Serve with parathas,rotis,naan,kulcha
  • Enjoy!!!!
