Marble Chocolate Cupcakes

 simple yet ultimate marbled vanilla chocolate cupcake .Which can be prepared under 5 minute and baked  within 20-22 minutes. No hustle of making two different batters, just have to mix cocoa powder to the existing vanilla batter and you are ready to bake. You may also like the marbled mango and chocolate cupcakes 



280Gms Plain flour
115Gms Caster sugar
250ml Milk
85Gms Butter (room temp)/6Tbs Cooking oil  plus extra for greasing
1Tbs Baking powder
1/8 Tsp Salt
2Tbs Cocoa powder
1Tsp Vanilla extract


  • Preheat the oven to 200C/400F.Grease a 12 muffin tin or line with 12 paper liners.
  • In a bowl sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the sugar.
  • Lightly beat the eggs in a bowl, then beat in the milk, oil and vanilla extract. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the beaten liquid ingredients. Stir gently until just combined, avoid over mixing.
  • Divide the mixture between 2 bowls. Stir the cocoa powder into 1 bowl and mix together.
  • Using teaspoons, spoon the mixture into the cupcake liners, alternating the chocolate mixture and the plain vanilla mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown on top. Take out of the oven and leave the muffins in the muffin pan for 5 minutes.
  • Serve warm or transfer to a wire rack and allow it to cool.
